Why do I get an error when I try to log in?
First check to be sure that you have the right User Name and password
(both are case sensitive!). If you do, it may just be a high traffic
period. Some browsers report errors even though it is just a traffic
problem. If you continue to have difficulties, try using a different
browser.

I changed my URL but my banner still points to the old one.
What should I do?
It usually takes a few minutes for the database to update. Please wait
a while to confirm that the banner points to the right place.

What exactly is a 'credit'?
As soon as you earn one credit (each ad view on your site counts as
2:1 credit), you are immediately scheduled to be advertised on another
members' site.
How many credits does my site have to earn before my ad is displayed on other sites?
One. As soon as you earn one credit (each visit to your site counts as
2:1 credit), you are immediately scheduled to be advertised on another
member site.
So it's to your advantage to put the HTML code into your web pages as
near to the top so that it does load so you get more credits, because
if you have it near the bottom of the page people could of left your site before
The Sonic Exchange banner had loaded meaning that you dont get a credit for that!

What is a click-thru?
Click-thru is a ratio comparing the number of times your banner has
been viewed on other sites to the number of times someone clicks that
your banner has received (the ratio shows the number of times someone
'clicks thru' to your page).
So, if we advertised your banner 5000 times (5000 exposures) and 50
people clicked on your banner to visit your page, you would have a 100:1
click-thru ratio.

How can I improve my click-thru?
The key element that affect click-thru is banner design.
In our experience, banners which use humor and banners which have
plenty of information (as opposed to hype) do best. Experimenting with
different banner designs can help you decide what types of banners are
most effective.
Also, remember that click-thru is not the only measure of performance
in banner advertising campaigns. For each display of your ad, regardless
of its click-thru, you are still receiving valuable exposure for your
site.
Click-thrus usually range from 1 to 3%. Of course, different sites get
different click-thru ratios!

Since I have multiple pages and Sonic Exchange banners on each page,
can you give me stats about each individual page?
Unfortunately, we do not provide individual stats for multiple pages.
The stats for your account are cumulative. If your web site pages are
distinct and you need separate banners and separate statistics, you
should register each page separately.

Is there something wrong with my stats, how come my Web counter
is showing a different number of visits?
Each Web counter uses different methods to count up visits. Some Web
counters discount multiple consecutive hits from the same IP address,
and others only count one visit for each IP address per day. Therefore,
you will often find that different Web counters give different results.
We measure how many times the Sonic Exchange code on your page has resulted in
the loading of a banner.
In addition, the we only count the number of times our banner is shown,
so if someone is using a non-graphical browser or has turned off graphics,
the count will be less than the number of visitors you have. Also, if
you place the banner near the bottom of your page, we won't count the
visit if the visitor hits "Stop" before our banner loads.

What is the Reset Counter for?
The Reset Counter is for members to monitor the number of visitors they
have over a certain period of time. In other words, they need the Reset
Counter to keep track of visiting patterns. Some people do it every
week and some everyday.
