Human The Search For The Chaos Emeralds. ___________________________________ ONE: The Escape --------------------------------------------------------------------- It was, very cold. Sonic was in a cell in Dr. Robotnik’s jail. Sonic was held up against the wall by chains. "Man oh man how did I manage to get myself into this?" Sonic asked him self. He remembered Knothole village going up it smoke, Dr. Robotnik’s SWAT bots searching the area for the Freedom fighters, a band made up of him and his friends. When one was found about 10 of those bots showed up and grabbed him or her. Now, one by the Freedom Fighters were ending up in Dr. Robotnik’s jail. "Now I know what it is like to be a jail bird" Sonic said, "THIS STINKS!" Sonic had a very bad cold and it was turning to a slight fever, both of his wrist were hurt from struggling so hard to get out of the SWAT bots grasp. He was too weak to spin dash out, plus, even if he did he could not take on ALL the bots with out being killed. The only single soul he knew that was not in that jail was, someone, but he could not remember her name it was so far back. He tried to remember her, but all his tries failed. "Man" said Sonic talking to him self, "if I ever get out of this mess, remind me to find a REALLY good relocating spot for Knothole." Sonic got sicker, but he made him self go to sleep. ************************** The next morning came. Sonic herd a familiar voice, it was the friend of his he had known since he was a kid. It was a girl cat named Sugar. She was a white Persian with black on the top of her long tail and a few black stripes on her face and paws; wearing a purple shirt and jeans. "Hey Sonic, what are yu do’in here?" she asked. Sonic looked up fast. "Hey Shuge,' what are you do’in here!?" Asked Sonic perking up quickly in surprise "and how did you take out those mettle heads?" "I didn’t" she answered, "I snuck into the computer room and put them of gard for a few minutes." Sugar had a key ring spinning on her finger. "Thought you could use a hand." "I herd about Knothole" she said. "Yeah" said Sonic looking at the floor. There was a long silence. "Well, lets get down to busyness" said Sugar. "You got it!" replied Sonic. "Um, can you get me out of these?" "Sure" replied Sugar, "there" she said as she unlatched the last chain. "Ah man dose it feel good to be out of them things!" said Sonic pulling off his gloves and shaking his hands. "Oh yeah" said Sonic, "my friend are in here too, the entire Freedom Fighter band, you wan’a hand me that key ring?" "Kay" she aswered. So the entire team set out on there journey home. Sonic, still sick, "ugh, I feel nasty." "Stay away from me, I don’t want what ever you got!" said Bunnie. Sonic lifted his hands above his head and walked toured Bunnie" "I’m gon’a GET YOU" said Sonic playing around. "AH! Get away!" yelled Bunnie. Sonic only laughed at her. Bunnie held up her robotilized arm and punched Sonic in his stomach. Sonic gasped for air, "hey, what was that for?" asked Sonic between gasps. "You know darn well, Sonic Mauric Hedgehog." Said Bunnie. _________________ TWO: Knothole gets a new home ----------------------------------------------------- Every one was thanking Sugar. "We would have been toast if you didn’t show up!" said Sally Acorn. "Hey guys, look over there" shouted Roter. He pointed to the old run down village a few miles away. Tails yawned. "Can we camp here for the night?" asked Tails. "Don’t see why not" answered Sonic, "le’me go and make sure it is safe. I think everyone could use a rest. AAACHU!" "OK" said Sugar, laughing. Every one had already made a bed out of leaves and was asleep by the time Sonic got back. "Guess I better keep watch" said Sonic in nearly a whisper to him self. Sonic sat on an old tree stump. "Hey Sonic" said Tails in a loud whisper to Sonic, "didn’t know you were up." "Yeah, I’m up" Sonic replied. "Can I keep watch with you Sonic?" asked Tails. "Sure, if you don’t mind risking that you might catch whatever I have" said Sonic. "Nah" answered Tails, but pretty soon, they were both out like a light. ************************ "GET UP YOU SLEEPY HEADS" yelled Sugar it Sonic’s and Tails’s ears. "Hey, what’s go’in on?!" exclaimed Sonic. "Just get up!" Said Sugar, "we have work to do!" "OK!" Said Sonic, Tails, Bunnie and Sally all together excitedly. They got to work on getting the useable wood out of the garbage. Sonic was feeling a hole lot better, "This work it too hard" complained Sonic wiping his fore head. Sugar laughed at him, "yes I know it’s hard, but do you want a house or what?" "All right all right, you win." said Sonic, "lets get JUCIN!" In a few days the team was finished and had a good place for the new Knothole village. It had a good wind break and there was a clear, running river flowing close by. In a few more weeks every one had a home of there own. Meanwhile. ************************* "Goodness, Buttnik needs to look at some home designing magazines." said Violet looking at the bare walls of the cell. "Yeah" replied Sonia. The two were good friends since they were young. They lived with there friends in a meadow, and as fare as they were concerned they were all orphans, no family what so ever. They all got captured at night by Dr. Robotnik’s SWAT bots. One by one there friends were being robotilized. One night, the only living things in that cell were Violet, Sonia and the rats. Now they were pretty smart so one night, the two friends thought up a good plane. The next day they would see how it worked. ******************* The next day the two friends took there plan to real life. Two SWAT bots grabbed each of them, took her to the robotilizer and set her down for a split second each to talk to Buttnik. "Here we go" said Sonia in a whisper to her friend. "Yeah!" replied Violet, "Lets get out of here!" They made a break for it. "GET THOES TWO BRATS!" yelled Robotnik, "DON’T LET THEM GET AWAY!" Lets go back to Sonic and his friends shall we? ******************** "Knock knock. Hey Sonic, can I come in?" asked Tails. "Yeah." "Hey little bro" said Sonic to Tails, "sup?" "Noth’in, that’s the problem." Tails replied "I am so bored." "Hey, how bout this" said Sonic, "go and tell others to meet me here." "Why?" Asked Tails. "You’ll see" answered Sonic. So when everyone showed up. . . "I called all of you here cause, I was think’in." "YOU, THINKING?!" interrupted Sugar in fake surprise. "Hey!" said Sonic holding one fist in front of his face. "Take it easy!" Said Sugar holding both hands up in front of her face, "I was only joke’in." "Good" said Sonic giving her a half smile. "Hey you two, stop fighting. What did you call us all here for?" Asked Sally. "Well" replied Sonic, "as I was saying, before I was soooo rudely interrupted, I was thinking that maybe Buttnik has someone in that jail of his. "Maybe your right Sonic, he just mite!" said Bunnie, "so what the who-ha are we waiting for? Lets get move’in!" So, the team left for Robotropolis. ****************** When they got there they saw Sonia and Violet running for there lives. "Hey what’s the rush?" asked Sonic. "Run for your lives!" yelled Sonia. Sonic looked around. "Oh no, now we are in for it!" said Sonic seeing the SWAT bots, "LETS GET OUT OF HERE!" They ran and ran, but little by little the SWATs gained on them. Sonic, up ahead, looked back at his friends "guess I better help them" Sonic slowed down enough to get back to his friends, "grab on!" yelled Sonic. So they all held on to each other, including Sonia and Violet. Finally, they were back at Knothole. "I am so glad I decided to go back there." Said Sonic. "Yeah yeah, quit patting your self on the back, Sonic" said Bunnie. "What is your name?" asked Tails to Sonia. "Sonia. You?" "Tails." "Cool name" said Sonia. "You to" replied Tails. "Shouldn’t we all introduce our selves?" Asked Sugar. "Yeah." Said Sally. "Well, I will start" Said Tails, "I am Tails, Sonia already knows me. This is Sonic, Sugar, Sally, Roter, Knuckles, Bunnie, Bookshire and Antoine. Knuckles will only be with us for a bit, he is only visiting. "Yeah" replied Knuckles, "I gard Floating Island." "Cool" and I am Violet and this is Sonia. "Did you know you look a lot like me?" said Knuckles to Violet. Even at Dr. Robotnik’s place. All Robotnik did was think of a way to get rid of Sonic, and one day. "I GOT AN IDEA!" said Dr. Robotnik, "when Sonic comes here to do. . . What ever he does here, I will send 50 ulra SWATS to get him into my trap, and I will FINALLY ROBOTILIZE THAT HEDGEHOG!" He yelled to Snivly, "BWA HA HA HA!" "Snivley!" said Robotnik, "Go and send a hole tun of U-SWATs to Floating island and steel the chaose emaralds." "OK" he replied. "The chaose emaralds are the only thing that can un-roboticize some-one" he said, "and hide them gooooood!" ******************* "Hey Sonic" said Sally, "I have a mission for you." "Yeah, I’m listening" he replied. "OK, your Uncle Chuck has a computer code for me to help with the un-roboticizer. OK? "No problem-o" Sonic replied, "be back in a Sonic-second" he said heading for the ring pool. He came back holding a power ring. "I’ll be back" he said. ZOOOOOOOOM! Sally had to hold onto a tree to keep from being blown away, "don’t you ever slow down?" she yelled out to him. "YEAH" he yelled from behind him, "WHEN I’M SLEEPING." *SIGH* "Oh well" said Sally. "I SEE HIM!" yelled Snivley from his look-out spot. "GREAT!" said Robotnik, "send out the U-SWATS." "YES SIR!" said Snivley. The Ultra SWATs started after Sonic. "Stupid mettle heads. Don’t they ever give up?" said Sonic. More and more came and more still. Sonic started to worry. "Oh crud" he said to him self." Robotnik was looking at the surveillance screen, delighted with the expression on Sonic’s face, "I finally got him!" he said with delight. It was about a full hour and a half before Sonic begun to were down. Oh no, he thought, the U-SWATS were gaining on him and he was getting very tired. Three U-SWATs came and grabed Sonic. "LE-ME GO! LE-ME GO!" he yelled, "GET OFF OF ME!" He did a spin dash out of the grasp of the U-SWATs. "HA!" said Sonic, "ya still can’t catch me!" he said throwing his back pack with the computer code in it in case he did get caught. "HA HA HA!" said Robotnik, "he’s heading right for my little trap." Sudenly a big glass sphear droped down on Sonic. "HEY!" said Sonic WHAT IS THIS THING?!" Robotnik walked up to the sphear. "Well hedgehog, I fillaly got you! And this time, YOU AREN’Y GETING OUT!" "LET ME OUT. LET ME OUT. LETTTTTTT MEEEEE OUUUUUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Sonic yelled so loud Robotnik cringed. "Sorry hedgehog, but this time I win!" said Robotnik, "BWA HA HA HA HA." "WHAT ARE YA GON’A DO TA ME?!" Sonic asked. "Thats for me to know, and you to fined out." But Sonic knew what Robotnik had in mind for him, and for one of the few times in his life, he was scard. Sonic was taken to Robotnik’s place. "Time to get rid of you...... FOREVER!" "OK BUTER BALL!" said Sonic, "IF I’M GOING TO GET ROBOTICIZED I’M GOING TO ANOY YOU FIRST! Butnik sucks. The mettle hedgehog had to regain his senses. He regained them and found the end of the scarf and untied it. Tails had tried to forget about Sonic for the time being, but it didn’t work. He brought it out, placed it on a stand and started playing Sugar was heading for Sonia and Violet’s hut to say hi when she heard the beautiful music coming from Tails’ hut. "I guess Tails has the radio on" she said to herself. She stepped up to Tails’ hut and peaked in through the open window. When she looked, her eyes almost popped out. "That’s coming from Tails?!" she asked herself. She stepped up to the door and knocked. "Can I come in?" she asked. "Um, yeah" said Tails quickly hiding the keyboard. "COME ON IN!" he said as cheerfully as he could. "Hey? Where did the keyboard go?" she asked. "You saw me?" he asked wide eyed. "Um. Yeah, I did. Is that OK? "Well......" "Tomorrow I need Tails, Knuckles, Bunnie, Violet and Sonia to go to Robotropolis and see if you can find anything. OK?" "Roter?" she said. "Yes?" He answered. "Get some walky talkies, and make um good" she said. "Sure thing Sal!" He said. ********************** Next day at the conference room: "Lets go!" said Tails. At the time, Tails was willing to do anything to get Sonic back. Tails felt sick, not physically sick, but more like heart sick. He always wanted to cry and sometimes he felt like killing someone. He felt like just charging into Robotniks place and just kill that fat butt head who took his best freind. "That big fat Ba&#@!*, I WISH HE WOULD GO TO HE((!" "TAILS!" exclamed Sally, "I know you are upset, but you HAVE TO CALM DOWN!" "OH REALLY!" said Tails, not thinking, "I’LL BE BACK!" He said. He run off at top speed tords Robotropolis. "NO, TAILS!" said Bunnie, "COME BACK!" There was no reply. "Kuckles, Violet, Bunnie and Sonia" said Sally. "Yes?" they said together. "Go with Tails and bring these" she said handing the four Freedom Fighters walky talkys. "No problem-o, Sal!" Said Knuckles. The four-some left the hut and headed for Robotropolis. Tails heard the four Freedom Fighters coming in his direction. He ran off in another direction, hoping they would not follow him. He sat down on a rock and dosed off. Tails had a dream: He was a little fox. He was flying and he started to fall. He landed in a blue hedgehogs arms. Which made the hedgehog fall over backwards. The blue hedgehog introduced himself as Sonic and took him in. Sonic taught him how to use his two tails to go really fast. The two became best friends and then they met the Freedome Fighters-- Just then, Tails relised he was having a dream of his life. He woke up and went back to Knothole. He felt really delierious. He went to his hut and fell asleep again. There, he had the rest of him dream: Dr. Robotnik took over and the Freedom Fighters all fought for the good of Mobius. The rest of his life flashed before him. He awoke from his sleep and zoomed of to meet the Freedom Fighters. "Hi-yu guys" said Tails wen he got there. The Freedom Fighters were making sure the cost was cleer. "HI TAILS!" said Bunnie. "Hi" said Tails. "Ready guys?" Asked Knuckles. "Yeah" they all said in one voise. ***************** Violet looked at the long hall. "Ooooooooo. Cool" she said to herself, "hmmmmmmm. Lets see. I wonder were Butnik’s room is." "OY VAY!" said Knuckles, "THIS PLACE IS A MESS!" He was looking through a closet. "What a job" said Sonia, "this place is a DISASTER!" She looked all over the computer room. Finally, Sonia found what she was looking for. She turned on he walkie talky, "I got something!" She said. "OK! Great!" said Bunnie and Tails from outside at there look-out spot, "get it and bring it here-- "I THINK I HERE A SWAT!" interupted Tails. "GET OUT OF THERE!" Said Bunnie loundly over the walkie-talky. The others were out in no-time flat. "Lets go" said Tails. The five Freedom Fighters snuck out of Robotropolis with no trouble, then they left for the six-mile trip. "Me and Bunnie can cary two of you up in the air if ya want" said Tails. "Yeah" said Bunnie. "OK" replied Sonia. "I wil glide" said Knuckles. "Me too" said Violet. The two echindas climbed up a tree and glided next to Tails and Bunnie. (Bunnie could fly with the rocket boosters on her feet.) In about 30 minutes, the five Feedom Fighters were back at Knothole. "Glad you guys made it back OK" said Sugar, who was waiting for them at the edge of Great Forest, "lets go home." __________________ FIVE: White Wind (A.K.A Peter) ------------------------------------ "Hey guys" said Violet, "I have not been to this part of the forest yet. I am going to check it out. OK?" "OK" said Knuckles, Bunnnie, Sonia, Sugar and Tails altogether. "We will go on ahead" said Knuckles. "Oooooo. Its nice back here!" Said Violet excitedly, "LA DE DA!- HEY!" All of a suddenly, a white fox wearing blue shoes with a steel tow and old, ripped forest green gloves jumped on her, knocking her to the ground. "HEY PAL, WHAT’S THE BIG IDEA!?" She kicked him in the stomach and flipped backward. Soon, the two were in a big fight. In about 15 minutes, Violet had him pinned to the ground and beat up, he looked like a wreck. So big guy, have you learned your lesson? Said Violet, whipping back her long hair. "Wow" said the fox, "I have never been beat up by a girl like that before. Just then Violet realized that the fox had two tails! "HEY!" she exclaimed, "YOU HAVE TWO TAILS!" "Um yeahh" he replied, "I do." "SO DOES MY FRIEND!" "REALLY!!!!?" he said in a change of voice, "WERE!?" "Back at the village" she answered. "What’s his name?" he said, seeming more and more interested. "Tails-- I mean Miles Prower. We call him Tails though." The fox looked at her wide eyed, "Take me there!" He said. "Wellllll..." she said. "I have been searching for him" he said earnestly, "please please PLEASE?!" "OK, OK, fine wait here" she said. "I will be back. Oh and by the way. What is your name?" "Peter" he told her, "but I am better known as, White Wind." "Really?" she said, "cool." She smiled and left. ********************************** "Hi-yu guys!" said Violet. "Hi Vio!" said Tails. "HI!" Said Sonia. "OK, enough with the chit-chat. Go and get ALL of the Freedom Fighters and meet me at the edge of great forest. OK?" "Whatever you say." said Sonia. "OK" said Tails. Violet was already there and waiting by the time all of the Freedom Fighters came. "OK guys!" said Violet, "FOLLOW ME!" "This better be inportant so me and Tails to stop our checkers game!" said Sonia. "OH IT IS!" said Violet. The teem all followed Violet. None of them knew why, but they did. "HERE!" she said. The freedom Fighters stopped and looked around. Finely. . . "HA!" said White Wind, "GOT YA!" he pounced on Tails. "HEY LIL BRO!" Tails leaped to his feet. "HUH?" he said. Peter put each of his tails to a side. Tails tried to remember what had happened before Sonic took him in. Then he did! He was living happily with his mom, dad and BROTHER! Robotnik killed his mom and dad, but little Miles and Peter got away and went in different directions. Suddenly Tails ran over to Peter and hugged him tight. He looked up at him with tears in his eyes. "I can’t believe I have a brother" he said, "this is so great!" Tails hugged his big brother tighter. Peter picked him up and spun him around. "So Miles, why don’t you introduce me to your friends?" Tails looked at him with narrowed eyes, "don’t call me Miles!" he said. Peter started laughing at the way Tails had said it. Tails laughed with him and then introduced him to the Freedom fighters. They took him back to Knothole and told him all about Sonic. When they told him about how fast he was, Peter said he could beat him. Everyone just laughed. Then Peter asked them why he was not here. Knuckles was the only one who could stand from crying to tell him the story. The way Knuckles had told it, Peter and Knuckles himself was on the verge of tears too. Even though Peter did not even know Sonic. Knuckles put his face in his hand. Everyone knew, that Knuckles and Sonic fought way too much to be called friends. But still, Knuckles was not the kind of a guy that would leave a some-times friend without help. "OH YEAH!" said Bunnie, "WHAT ABOUT THAT THING YOU FOUND SONIA?!" "OH YEAH!" said Sonia, "lem-me show ya!" She pulled out a big map of Mobius. It had two small X’s on it. "Yeah, so" said Antoine, "what iz so great about zat ting?" "Can’t you see?" said Sonia, "this is probably were the chaos emeralds are! And the way he had it hidden, I think it is real!" Everyone gathered in the conference room. Sally looked over the map. "Hmmm" she said to herself. When everyone was there, Sally told them her plan. "OK guys, this is the plain: Knuckles, White Wind and Bunnie!" "Yes?" they replied. "I want you three to go together to get this chaos emerald. Sonia, Tails and Violet!" "Umm hmm?" they said. "I want you to go and get this one" she said pointing all the way to the other side of the map. Me and the other guys will stay here and work on the de-roboticizer; then when you all come back we can put them in, and vwa-la! SONIC!" _______________ SIX: The search is on! -------------------------------- The two teems of three set out on there journey with a good many guns to help them along, sky boards and some food and other supplies. Roter had made the sky boards for the trip. They all jumped on there sky boards and they all went in there own way. Violet, Tails and Sonia; and Peter, Bunnie and Knuckles. It was a long flight-- a week to be exact. "I will blow-up the SWATs over there" said Peter, "Bunnie, you get those over there and Knuckles, you get the rest." "OK" they whispered. They all were a bit hurt after the fight, but they were all OK besides that. They had a bigger problem. The chaos emerald was in a strong steel keeper. The three pondered over this a bit then. . . "I got it!" said Bunnie, "lets just blast it!" "Well, I guess it’s worth a try" said Knuckles. "OK then" said Bunnie, "one, two, tree GO!" the three blasted it for a good hour before it broke. "It was about time" said Peter, "my arm was getting tired. "Mine too" said Knuckles. "Not mine" said Bunnie. "Of coarse not yours, Bunnie" said Peter, "Your arm is roboticized!" Everyone started laughing. "Lets get back to Knothole" said Peter. "OKY DOKY WHITY!" said Knuckles. Meanwhile. "This should be a cinch" said Tails, "we’ll have Sonic back in no time flat!" The three did the same as the others, and headed back to Knothole. Everything was going great, but all of a sudden both of the chaos emeralds started to glow and broke there sky boards about 50 miles away from Knothole. "This sux" said Sonia, "did you know that? THIS SUX!" "Yes Sonia, we know ‘this sux’." said Violet "UGH!" exclaimed Knuckles, "WHY US?!" "It’s to ruin your life" said Peter. "YUP!" said Bunnie. The three decided that Peter and Bunnie would fly, and Knuckles would glide till they got tired; then they would walk then do it again and again till they were back at Knothole. The other team decided that Tails would fly and carry Sonia while Violet glided and let Sonia keep her feet on her back. When they got tired they did the same thing as Knuckles and the rest of his gang. It took them all a week and a half to get back to Knothole. When they did get back, the de-roboticizer was almost done. In a day it was all done. ______________________ SEVEN: Sonic the hedgehog is back in town! ----------------------------------------------- The next day (two days before Sonic’s birthday) the Freedom Fighters got the party stuff all up. Also, Knuckles and Violet left to lure Sonic to Knothole. "Good luck guys!" said Sugar. "Yeah" said Roter. "Thanks, we’ll need it" said Violet. "Umm hmm" said Knuckles. An hour later the party stuff was up and Violet and Knuckles ran into Knothole. "TURN IT ON!" said Knuckles, "TURN IT ON!" Sally and Bunnie aimed the big machine at Sonic and shot it. After the smoke gave way, the Freedom Fighters saw Sonic laying on the ground. "SONIC!" said Tails, "ARE YOU OK?! SPEAK TO ME!" Sonic opened his eyes a tinny bit. "Hi-yu guys" he said sitting up, and then he dropped to the ground again. The Freedom Fighters took Sonic to the medical room. Bookshire and Sugar (the two who knew the most about medical care) said he was in a coma. "What’s a coma?" Asked Tails. "It’s when they are asleep for a bit more than a day" said Sonia, "sometimes years!" "But.... Will he be OK?" "OH YEAH!" said Sonia, "he’ll be fine. He just needs to be fed through tubes and stuff." "Oh" said Tails, "will he miss his birthday that we planed, Sugar?" "I don’t know yet Tails" she replied, "I hope not!" "Yeah, me too" said Knuckles, "we worked hard for that!" The next day, Sonic was woke up. "Huh?’" said Sonic weakly, "wear am I?" "Your here silly!" said Sugar. "Oh" he said. Sugar called Tails, and in ten seconds Tails was in the room. Sonic lifted off the covers that were on him and tried to sit up, but he couldn’t; he was much too weak. "HI SONIC!" said Tails, "OH, I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!" he said as he ran to hug Sonic. "YEAH! said Sally who just entered, "ME TOO!" soon, everyone was in the room. Every one was glad Sonic was back, even Knuckles and Antoine. ‘Howdy do there ‘Blue Blur’?" Said Knuckles. "Fine" replied Sonic as he managed to get up. Just then Sonic saw Peter. "Hey you!" said Sonic "who the heck are ya?" "Peter" he replied, "but you can call me White Wind. I’m Tails’ brother." "Brother?!" he said in surprise, "man, did I miss stuff!" Everyone started laughing. "I heard your fast!" said Peter in a challenging way. "Yeah" said Sonic, ready for the challenge. "I’ll race ya!" said Peter. "OK!" Said Sonic. He got out of bed forgetting about how weak he was, and fell right back down on the bed. "Maybe later" he said with his eyes closed, he opened them and said, "I have felt better." "No problem" he said, "Come on squirt!" said Peter to Tails. "WILL YOU QUIT CALLING ME SQUIRT?!" asked Tails angrily. "Yeah" said Sonic, "PETER!" DON’T CALL ME PETER!" he said madly. Ever one started laughing again. "Hey Sonic" said Sugar. "Yes? said Sonic in reply. "You better get better by tomorrow!" "Why?" he asked. Knuckles gave Sugar a hard glance. "Oh, never mind" said Sugar. "OK’ said Sonic. Knuckles wiped his for head behind Sonic. _____________ EIGHT: PARTY! -------------------------- Sonic went back in his hut with Tails (and now Peter) to sleep. The next day Sonic sleep in. Which was good. The Freedom Fighters got everything ready and waited for Sonic to get the note that Tails had left. It read: Dear Sonic: Me and White Wind are at the party room to see if any thing is happening. Meet us there. Your Best Pal Miles ‘Tails’ Prower Sonic got up and saw that Peter and Tails were not there. Then he saw the note, read it and strapped on his shoes and put on his gloves, and off he went. "Here he comes guys!" said Tails, "HIDE!" They turned out the lights and hid. Sonic walked in. "TAILS?! WHITY!?" he yelled. "SURPRISE! HAPPY 16TH BIRTHDAY, SONIC!" everyone yelled as they turned on the lights. "WOW!" said Sonic looking at all the decorations, "YOU GUYS DID ALL THIS FOR LIL OLE ME?!" "Yup!" said Knuckles, "all for lil ole you!" Sonic looked over at the big huge cake that was on a table in the center of the room. It said: Happy 16th Birthday Sonic! "Me, Bunnie, Sonia and Violet made the cake" said sally. "Really?" asked Sonic, looking at everything three times before he said, "Hey Whity?!" "Yeah" he replied. "One word" said Sonic, "RACE!" "OH YEAH!" said Peter, "LETS DO IT! Then..... CAKE!" "OK" said Sugar, "FINE WITH ME!" "Lets go!" said Sonic. They were all out side. White Wind was sure he would win. "READY SET GO!" said Roter. The two ran at top speed (Sonic was in-front of course). Peter was stunned. "WHAT!?" In about five minutes, Sonic was almost to the finish line. He stopped and waited for Peter. when he saw him, he ran again, and just for fun, he kicked up some dust while running and went back to Peter and the dust went all over him. "HEY!" Said Peter, "AFTER THIS RACE, SONIC THE HEDGEHOG!" After the race (Sonic won) everyone was cheering (for Sonic) and saying good try Whity. Peter was furious. "That HEDGEHOG beat me!" said Peter, "I can’t believe it!" "Hey Peter!" said Tails. "Yes" said Peter annoyed. "I told you he is fast. "Yeah" said Peter, "guess I should have trusted ya huh?" "YUP!" said Tails. After a few games, cake,food and some other stuff, the party was over. _________________ NINE: I wan’a fly! ------------------------------ One fine day, Tails, Violet, Sonic, Knuckles, Sonia and Sugar were out side playing while Antoine and Peter were watching from a near by rock. "1, 2, 3, 4" Sonic counted, "5, 6, 7 8 9 10! READY OR NOT HERE I COME!" They were playing hide-and-go-seek tag, and Sonic was it. Sonic cought a glimps of Tails’ shadow and snuck up on him. Sonic past right by him, not looking at him. "HMMMM" said Sonic, "no one here!" Suddenly, he pounced at Tails. Tails flu up JUST before Sonic got to him. Tails landed and spun his two tails around to go faster. Sonic got him just befor he got to base. "Darn it" said Tails, "some day you won’t get me." "Yeah" said Sonic, "Maybe. But today aint that day! YOUR IT!" "HEY TAILS!" yelled out Peter from the rock, "HOW DID YA DO THAT?!" "Do what?" asked Tails. "FLY!" he said, "AND GO SO FAST-- JUST BY SPINNING YOUR TAILS!" "You meen you CAN’T!?" asked Tails. "Ah, no" said Peter, "I can’t." "Well then" said Tails, "me and Sonic will teach ya!" "YA WILL!?" asked Peter excitedly. "Yup!" said Sonic, "cause we are sooooo nice!" "Meet us tomorrow at the obstacle coarse" said Sonic pointing to the coarse about 300 feet away. "OK!" said Peter. "HEY ANTIONE, WHITE WHIND!" said Violet, "come and play with us." "OK!" said Peter. "WHAT?" said Antione, "you guys vwant me to play with you?!" "YUPPERS!" said Violet. "OK!" said Antione. Pretty soon, everyone was out side playing tag, even Roter. They all took a rest by the river on River Rock. River Rock was a BIG rock right next to the river. "Hey guys!" said Sally, "I will be right back!" "OK" said Sonic. They were all in the river swimming by the time Sally got back. "Hey Sall!" said Sonic, "whats in the basket?" "PICNIC!" she replied. "YEAH!" said Knuckles, "Did ya bring grapes?" "YUP!" said Sally, "YOU NAME IT, I GOT IT!" "YEAH!" said everyone together. After the meel, eveyone went home. All but Sonic, Sonia, Tails and Peter. "Hey Sonic?" said Sonia. "Yeah?" said Sonic. "Well, I was thinking. . . Do you think we and you are brother and sister?" "I don’t know" said Sonic thoughtfully. Then night Tails thought Peter how to fly. Sonic and Sonia flu up in the sky with Tails and Peter on sky boards. It was a happy night. When all four of them got tiered, they went in. ________________ TEN: Catch me if you can! --------------------------------- "Hey Tails?" said Sonic. "Yeah?" "Do ya think Peter is gon’a show?" Sonic asked. "Of course!" Said Tails. The two friends were out side waiting by the obstacle course. "I’m leving if he does not show up in 15 minutes!" said Sonic. "He’ll be here!" said Tails. Ten minutes later: "HI-YU guys!" said Peter. "Told ya!" said Tails to Sonic. "YUP!" said Sonic. "Hey Whity!" called out Sonic to Peter. "YEAH!?" He called out to Sonic. "What took ya?!" he asked. "Sorry Sonic, Tails" said Peter, "I sleeped in." "Oh!" Said Sonic, "No problem! I do that all the time!" They all started laughing. "I have to put my alarm clock all the way to the other side of the room" said Peter. "OK, OK!" said Tails, "Enough chit chat. Let do stuff!" "OK!" said Peter. "What was my time?" asked Peter panting. "Uh. 10.43.86." answered Tails. Sonic was training him and Tails was keepping time. "OH, COME ON!" said Sonic, "YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT!" "OK" said Peter, "Let me try again." "Wait!" said Sonic, "Watch and learn!" Sonic ran around the coures five times like Peter, while Tails timed him. He stopped, "What was my time?" Asked Sonic. "Um. Lets see, 2.31.43!" "COOL!" said Sonic, "Now it’s your turn!" "OK!" said Peter. "Now, spin your tails around!" said Sonic, "You will go much faster! Right Tails?" "RIGHT!" said Tails. "Show him how it’s done big guy!" said Sonic to Tails. "OK, Sssonic! he replied. "He can’t out run me!" said Peter. "Yes he can" said Sonic. Tails handed Sonic the timer and started off. Tails, like Sonic and Peter, ran the course five times. "Time?" he asked Sonic. "Hmmm. 4.12.06!" said Sonic, "That was good!" Peter was studying Tails closely while he was running. "Let me try!" said Peter. "READY? SET? GO!" said Sonic and Tails together. Peter started again. He leped over the log, eged along on the ropes across the river. Climbed the little wall and did it four more times. "TIME!?" he said as he stopped at the rock Sonic and Tails were sitting on. "Well Whity" said Sonic, "It was, 7.02.99! MUCH BETTER!" "YESSSS!" said Peter as he flu up in the air. "I call lunch break!" said Sonic. "Yeah, me to!" said Tails. "CHILLY-DOGS!" said Sonic. "Huh?" said Peter, "Never had um." "REALLY!?" asked Sonic. "Noooop" said Peter. "Well then." said Sonic, "Then you never lived! Be right back guys! I will go grab a basket to put um in and fill it to the top!" "OK!" said Tails. "FINE-O with me!" said Peter. "K!" said Sonic, "BE RIGHT BACK!" When Sonic got back, the two brothers were running the course together. "HELLOOOOO!" said Sonic. They eat and went to get the rest of the Freedom Fighters. They had another game of tag that day. It was a little harder to get Peter that day. They had a blast. ______________ ELEVEN: Sonic and Sonia! --------------------------------- The next day Sonic had a plan to see if Sonic and Sonia were brother and sister, and also to see is Knuckles and Violet were related in any way. Sonic went to Sonia and Violet’s hut and got them. Then they all went to Roter’s hut (were Knuckles was staying) and Sonic told them all his plan. Sonic told Roter to get on Mubius’ profiles and to look up ‘Sonic’. He did and it told a bit about his mom and dad (who were killed; and also about his sist (the rest of it was cut off) Sonic jumped for joy and hugged Sonia; and Sonia hugged him back. "Hey lil sis!" said Sonic as he winked to his little sister. It turned out that Knuckles and Violet were not related in the least. ________________ TWELVE: Dancing fool! ----------------------------- Sonic felt like telling the hole planet about him and Sonia. "I say we have a party!" said Sally! "YEAH!" said everyone in a choris. "Everyone can get a partner, and meet at the party room!" "Hey Sall?" said Sonic, "Do ya, uh. Want to go with, ah, me?" "Sure Sonic!" she replied. Everyone had a partner. All but Violet and Knuckles. They were at the room with everyone, but thye did not have partners. Hmmm, thought Knuckles, Maybe Violet will want to dance with me. "Na" he said to himself, "Who an I kidding?" Suddenly, "Hey Knux?" said Violet as she tapped his shoulder, "Ya wan’a dance?" "Sure" he said whith a smile. The End!
